Can I use any images to design my footwear range?
Yes, but you must own the copyright for all designs you sell.
If I sell and image which I’m unaware is copyrighted, what will happen?
We operate a 3 strike warning system for most breaches of our terms and conditions.

A first warning – Email to your account system notifying you of the breach of the terms. We will also remove designs without warning but notification.

A final warning – Email to your account system notifying you of the breach of terms, and a final warning notice.

Removal of your account and store.
Each matter is dealt with on a individual basis. Mes Footwork reserve the right to remove your account and store without a first warning. In no circumstance can we try and retrieve from you commission that has been paid. In some circumstances we may cancel commission that is owed.
Finance
How Am I paid?
If you are in the UK we can electronically transfer your commission to your bank account. Anywhere outside the UK, you will need a PayPal account.
When am I paid my commission?
All owed commissions are paid for a months period 15-20 days after the end of the month.
Am I charged tax on my commission?
Mes Footwork don’t charge you tax on commissions you earn from any country, but if you are running a commercial enterprise it is your job to find out if you owe anything. Get in touch for more help on this.
What if there is an error in my payment?
If we make an error when processing your commission earnings, please contact us at stores@mesfootwork.com. We’ll get Sherlock on the case immediately.
Can you take any commissions back from me?
No. Once you are paid your commission we cannot retract it. We leave enough time (15-20 days) to ensure any orders from your store you have been paid for wont be cancelled/refunded.

Are there any big rules I need to know about?
I never read the terms and conditions, what am I getting into?

We never read them either, but we do encourage you to. Here is a simple breakdown of the main points.

The main thing is, don’t misuse your store. This can be done by spamming, using offensive, illegal or inappropriate material. If you think its wrong, you know you probably shouldn’t use it. If you are unsure, ask us.

Your designs. We are designers, we understand it. E.g. by using offensive or inappropriate material, spamming or using copyrighted images in your design. We’re designers, we appreciate good design, and know that its impossible not to offend everybody, so we are good with making judgment calls on designs.

You are not signing your life away. You aren’t signing up to pay us anything or allow us to take possession of your house.
Admin Area
Can I rename my store?
No. Once you have named your store during sign up, this cannot be changed.
How many pairs of shoes can I have in my store?
You can sell 30 pairs in your store at any one time.
Can I change my stores email?
Yes
Can I delete my store?
Yes. Your store can be deleted at any time by following the steps on your account. If you account is inactive for 6 months, it will be removed.
